I am a third year student of engineering, my branch is computer science. Here i will sharing my experience with coding so far. This blog is for those who have taken computer science and engineering for the sake of earning money. And to have a great job in IT sector but if you love coding, it’s your passion, you do coding just to code, then I don’t think it’d be worth for you to read my coding experience. Since it happens to be an inspiration to those who suck at coding.
So let me first introduce myself properly. Hi, I am Devang Sharma. I live in Bhopal. i hail from a middle class family and got some big dreams. Needless to say, I am stuck with engineering. Well honestly saying i suck at coding yes you heard it right “i suck at coding”!. But it dosen’t mean coding is not fun. let me tell you my experience.
So I will now begin from my 11th class. As usual, I opted for Science with Mathematics post 10th. Moreover, I will keep it as short as possible. because we all know how tedious it is to read long paragraphs. Also I will be adding a picture of myself. 😉
so, where was i…yes in 11th class. So i took Pcm in 11th no actually my parents took PCM for “me”. I know many of you can relate to this. After taking it i heard it from many that bro You will fail in exam PCM is not for us and things like that but it was too late to think about that. I started Studying in first test i was passed in every subject. In my whole class only 10 students were passed in all the subjects and i was one of them. Yeah!! that boosted my confidence.then i started taking my studies, my future seriously for the first time in my whole life.
So i passed in 11th but with 49%. i studied hard but i dont know how this happened. Then 12th came “the life deciding stage” hell no!! it is not.
I joined a JEE coaching in Bhopal where i rather learned to bunk classes. After attending classes (bunking) for 3 months i realised i am not an IIT type of guy. So i quit. i started preparing for 12th boards i got 69.8% in 12th. I know i suck.
Anyhow by luck i got 41 marks in jee and got lncte college bhopal which is kinda ok better than other private colleges in bhopal. So i was happy i got the college now i will work hard on my future…i even joined C language coaching before even going to college, and guess what i found that i have 0 interest in coding. So for 2 years in 1st and 2nd year of my college i have done 0 coding. But I am now 2 years away from graduating out of my college.
So what I’ve learned till now the level of difficulty of coding is subject to how you perceive it.
Right now i am at intermediate level in coding, i am learning java and its not that difficult as it seems.so keep doing you can do anything learn as much as u can.
thanks for reading. Hope you found this feature to your own experiences.
“Memory refreshed”!!

PS – This is a picture of mine while I was coding. Ignore the screen as I was taking a break. (TVD <3)
If you wanna trail on the path that I’ve trailed on, you might find the above link useful from where I learned to code from scratch.
